Reduce Landfill Waste: Millions of coffee pods end up in landfills annually due to their non-biodegradable materials. One metric tonne of coffee grounds in landfill contributes 9.13 metric tonnes of greenhouse gas pollution through a process called anaerobic decomposition.

Our Recycling Process
Separation: Collected coffee pods are transported to our facility, where they are separated into plastic/aluminum, and coffee grounds.
Recycling: Plastic/aluminum are processed into plastic-based dimension lumber. Coffee grounds are converted to wood-like biomass pellets for use as thermal energy feedstock.
Documentation: Receive regular reports on the amount recycled, contributing to your sustainability metrics along with Scope 3 carbon emission reductions.

Steps to Begin Coffee Pod Pick-ups from Your Business
1. Contact Us: Reach out via phone or our website to express your interest.
2. Select a Plan: Choose the plan that fits your needs.
3. Service Agreement: Complete the Company service agreement outlining terms and conditions.
4. Set Up Payment: Decide on your preferred payment method—online or invoiced.
5. Schedule Pick-ups: Arrange convenient dates and frequencies for pick-up.
6. Receive Bins: We'll deliver the recycling bins to your location.
7. Start Recycling: Begin collecting spent coffee pods in the provided bins.
8. Ongoing Support: Receive regular pick-ups and support from our team.

How Does It Work?
There are 2 types of service:
1. For markets where there are Eco-Centers we offer our Walk-off-Bin Service:

120-liter Bin (approx.1,800 coffee pods) $200 / bin

240-liter Bin (approx. 3,600 coffee pods) $375 / bin

Pallet-size bin (approx. 21,000 coffee pods) $2,000 / bin
Service includes supply of Bin, Bin is exchanged with empty bin a frequency of weekly, every-2-weeks and every-4-weeks.
2. For markets without an Eco-Centre we offer our Mail Service.

Small box (10” x 10” x 18” approx. 500 coffee pods) $120 /box

Medium box (11” x 11” x 40” approx. 1,200 coffee pods) $235 / box
Initial order 2 boxes are provided by prepaid mail. When the first box is full, simply return in supplied postage-prepaid box. Order another replacement box to replace the shipped box.
